How do I change my IP address?

Changing your IP address in Windows XP:

  1. Click on the Start button, select Control Panel
    If a screen with a blue background appears, you are viewing the Control Panel in 'Category Mode'
    If you see a screen with a white background, go to the next step
    • Click on Network & Internet Connections
    • Under '..or pick a Control Panel icon', click on Network Connections and go to the next step
  2. Double click on Network Connections
  3. Right click on Local Area Connection and select Properties
  4. Scroll down and select Internet Protocol
  5. Make a note of any existing IP and gateway addresses for later use
  6. Enter the required IP address and gateway, then click the OK button

How do I share my outlook calendar with other exchange users?

The Owner - Giving Permission

  • In the calendar view, click on Tools
  • Select Options
  • Click on the Calendar Option button
  • Click on Resource Scheduling
  • Click on Set Permissions
  • Click on the Permissions tab at the top of the window
  • Click on Add
  • Choose a name of person you give permission to
  • Click on OK
  • In the Permissions Section tick the appropriate permissions you wish to give
  • Click on Apply
  • OK

 The Receiver - Accessing Shared Calendar:

  • Click on File
  • Click on Open
  • Click other user's folder
  • Click on the Name button
  • In the Folder Type field, choose Calendar
  • Click on OK
